So it only took almost a year but I finally managed to put up a new layout. Yay! Lol. Hopefully everything looks okay, it has been almost a year since I had to code let alone design a layout… the previous one had been up for almost a year! Oops?

This layout was made in Adobe Photoshop CS and Illustrator CS, coded in Notepad. It kinda reminds me of another layout I made that I had on my previous domain, which is probably what inspired me with this one lol. Oh well I’ve been out of the swing of things for awhile so it will just have to do until I am feeling a little more creative!

Okay so I have to start off with a quick review of the movie Iron Man. As you can probably tell from the title of this post, the movie itself is awesome in almost all aspects. The special effects will blow you away, as will just the display of technology throughout the film. The acting was actually quite well done, which is surprising for a super hero movie. I am not usually much of a super hero movie fan, for the most part, but this has to be my favourite thus far.

Work was pretty boring today so I won’t bother talking about it. I ended up going back to the boyfriend’s for a bit and watching a few movies like The Land Before Time and Surf’s Up before watching some more episodes of Stargate SG-1. Have I mentioned that I am in love with Dr. Daniel Jackson (aka Michael Shanks)?

Moving onward! Lol. I hope to finish up the new layout today but that depends on my plans. Currently I might have to drive my boyfriend and his co-worker to the Air Canada Centre to watch a baseball game (they won tickets :)) in the evening. Hopefully I can wake up early enough to complete it to my liking! I am so picky lol. Oh well… I start my summer internet course today… Not looking forward to it! Lol. Stupid school :P

And again it rains. Third day in a row that it has been pouring outside. Soo… no Wonderland, sadly. Maybe next weekend or during the week if it is nice out. I only work 5-9 Thursday, 5-9 Friday, and 11-5 on Sunday so that leaves lots of days open lol.

I know I said I probably wouldn’t post again until Monday or so but I ended up stopping by my house tonight for dinner. My dad needed me to pick up kitty food for my Cocoa. The boyfriend and I decided since Wonderland was scraped to go watch Iron Man with my little brother instead. Even though it is raining my dad is still BBQing steak, potatoes, and garlic bread. Yum. Hopefully the movie is good, the trailer for it seems to be full of special effects so we shall see!

The only good thing about working in a shoe store is the discount. I bought a pair of Birkenstock’s, the style is called Gizeh, in white. They are normally $110.00 before tax, but they only cost me $60.00 in total I am also ordering two more pairs, but in funky colours (one is blue and white with hearts on it!) for like $50.00 in total I am becoming a shoe-a-holic it seems. Oh dear
